We were coming home from visiting my son-in-law at Arkansas State Trooper School, & needed a place to seat & feed 16 of us. Old Chicago fit & exceeded the calling. We were promptly seated & Crystal was our sparking server! She was not overwhelmed, kept us all hydrated & plates clear. Plus being so close to Little Rock Air Force Base, she had ZERO problem breaking the checks down per couple . TYVM! I ordered Chicago 7â„¢ Calzone An Old Chicago original: pepperoni and Italian sausage, loaded with veggies and a blend of three cheeses. Fantastic! My daughter ordered this amazing dish called Oh My Spaghetti Pie Spaghetti tossed in made-from-scratch Alfredo sauce, slow baked and served by the slice over house marinara. which she shared with 3-4 of us & it was quite the heavy pasta dish.

Great food and great service. That being said as we ate their last night my girlfriend found a splintered chicken bone in her lasagna. Chicken doesnt even go in lasagna!!! The manager and server were AMAZING in how they handled the situation and within minutes a new lasagna was brought to the table. Will return next time Im in LittleRock

2 stars is only because the food was decent. I had a calzone. The customer service was horrible. Walked in and was not greeted for 5 minutes. there was a person at the spot where they greet people but they looked flustered and uninviting. Yes, the place was busy. Game night for the Razorbacks. This still does not excuse this type of behavior. The server was no where to found 90 percent of my visit there. I asked for a to go box 2 times and had to go to the front to get a to go box because they forgot. I would not recommend this place.

I really enjoyed the food here. The staff was friendly and the drink selection was very good. I tried their double deckeroni pizza Chicago style. It wasn't as thick as I'm used to with Chicago style deep dish but it was cooked perfectly so that the toppings were not over done and the bottom had a nice crunch to it. Also tried the buffalo chicken rolls which I thought were great and a couple nice stouts finished off my night. Over all this is a place I would visit over and over again.

Great service. The food was really good. We got the chicago style personal pizza and it was delicious. It wasn't quite thick as other Chicago style pizzas but nonetheless really good. We also got the fried pickles that were also really good. Would definitely come back.

Old Chicago is always a great place for me to order pizza and beer. I usually split a medium pizza with a friend and sometimes buy the buffalo chicken rolls when I'm extra hungry (they're so delicious). One time I ordered an appetizer that came with garlic cream dipping, and have ordered the dipping for my pizza ever since, which the waiter never had a problem with. My friend and I like to split the pizza into two flavors, usually the Chicago 7 and Hawaiian. The atmosphere is great, which usually consists of groups of friends and family. They have tvs so the sports channel is always on for those who want to watch a game.

Smelled like sewer when I was in there. Ordered food and had to leave because of the stench. Not a conducive environment to enjoy mediocre food. The place has really gone down since my last visit. I wouldn't recommend eating out of that kitchen.

The food was good and the service was great. I ordered a seasonal chicken avocado sandwich. Honestly, I thought about ordering something more "traditional" because, in my experience, when restaurants try seasonal stuff it may not go well. Boy, was I wrong. The sandwich bread was amazing, the chicken tender, and the avocado nice (not brown and black). I ordered the veggies as a side and they were pretty good too! Of course, I had a little of a Chicago style pepperoni pizza. That was tasty as well. The place could use a little updating and TLC but the food was great. I was skeptical I would like it --- but I did. I would go back.

June 28 Dinner Got the Thin 8" Double Deckeroni Pizza and side garden salad and it was on a special that with tax cost me $11.09 -- hard to complain about that price when you got full and its made to order, right? The sauce is sweet and reminds me of Dayton Ohio's Cassano's pizza sauce a bit. My only complaint on the pizza was the crust was chewy. It was thin, but not crispy. The pizza also had an overwhelming flavor of cooking gas. Yes, I said gas - like natural gas. It was like they had the dough already cooked and just placed the cheese & pepperoni on it and blasted it under a 750 degree blast oven. I know Old Chicago takes great pride in their deep dish style - just do the same for the Thin crusts too!

If you're looking for knock off plastic looking Chicago style pizza that looks like plastic and tastes worse, you've come to the right place. I was in Little Rock on a business trip over Super Bowl weekend. I've been to other Old Chicago's and had good experiences so some other folks and I decided this would be our best bet. My party of 3 arrived at 4:00, an hour and a half before the game, and got seats at the bar exactly where we wanted them. Jacob, the bartender, was friendly, upbeat, and made sure we always had a drink. We only ordered a couple of appetizer samplers, but everything came as ordered and everything tasted great. Service and food were spectacular and you can't go wrong with a beer selection that huge - the Imperial Chocolate Stout was my favorite. If you're looking for somewhere to grab dinner and a few drinks, this is a great place for it.

I had four boys with me and requested the large screen room for seating and was told there was no wait staff available for that area. So, we were seated by the waiter station and had traffic blowing by us the entire time. The one bright spot was our waitress, Leanne. She made the place shine. Otherwise, it would have been two stars.

Old Chicago is great chain restaurant. Perhaps my favorite chain restaurant. The pizza their is one of the best I ever had. Recommend the chicken buffalo. Great service. This place has the best beer selection out of any bar I ever been too. - Only negative is AR has a ridiculous sales tax on liquor, which is not the restaurant's fault.

Chicago style pizza is my favorite kind, so naturally, I like Old Chicago. I wouldn't quite call it out-of-this-world, yet it's good for chain, Chicago-style pizza. The hostess was very friendly, and our server was great. He mentioned that he had worked there about 5 years, and it showed. He was attentive, friendly, and tried to up-sell us multiple times (Good for him! His boss should be proud.) We tend to stick with traditional pizzas, such as pepperoni, sausage, or ham + pineapple. They have a bunch of other items on the menu, such as salads, sandwiches, soups, and pasta...yet we always stick to the pizza. Really, why else would we be there? :) And, they have a full bar. My only negative is that the Yelp deal they had listed was "expired" (yet the owners hadn't updated Yelp, I suppose.)

Old Chicago has been fading from brilliance ever since the doors opened. They used to have a delicious New York style pie...now they have scrapped that tangy delicious option and replaced it with a thin crust option that has sweet...that's right...SWEET tomato sauce. Gross. However, their pan pies are still good. The pizza used to be served hot...the last three times I went there, it was luke warm at best. They used to have NTN...not anymore. They used to have a top notch beer selections...now not so much. But then what would you expect from a draft house that offers tasting samplers that consist of such rarities as Dos Equis Amber and Sam Adams Winter Ale. I wouldn't be surprised if the tap handles are permanently rusted on since they are never changed. They used to ask "Would you like a beer?"...now they just bark "What do you want?" The bartenders there are pissy, inattentive, and generally unhelpful. Show them your beer tour card and then get ready to hear them sigh and huff over the awesome burden you've just asked them to shoulder. I really used to love this place. But the service sucks, the beer is tired, and there's not really a reason to go anymore.

The place was nearly empty when I went, buy that's not a bad thing. It was 3pm on a Monday. We ordered pasta nachos and an 8in deep dish Chicago 7. It was a great amount of food for the two of us. It all tasted wonderful. The service was nice. He actually took the time to mix the sweet and non sweet tea for my friend.

My family has dined here on about a 7-8 occasions since the restaurant opened. We almost always order pizza, but my kids occasionally order something different, such as spaghetti. Overall the food is good. I've had the "Chicago Seven" style pizza a few times, and it was good. Lately we've opted for the Double Deckeroni pizza, which contains two layers of pepperoni - which my family has grown to be very fond of. Most pizzas can be ordered "Chicago Style" with a deep-dish crust, or with a thin crust. I actually prefer thin-crust pizza, but when we go to Old Chicago we almost always opt for the deep-dish crust. Overall, I would say that their pizzas are good. Old Chicago is not the best place in metro Little Rock for pizza, but the food is consistently good. Their pizzas tend to be quite greasy, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that. The first time we visited Old Chicago on Warden Road, the service was disastrous; the restaurant had only been open about a week, so we assumed it was related to the staff still learning their roles. We went back a few months later and the service was still bad. Over time, the quality of service has been improving steadily, and during our last visit it was superb. We'll continue to come back.

The pizza was edible but I didn't think it was good. This was merely a thick crust pan pizza style pizza and not a Chicago style.

My wife and I have eaten here several times. Old C's is a place I used to eat and drink at frequently in Colorado Springs, and it was nice to live near one again. I live in a dry county and have been in some pretty out-of-the-way places, so to me the beer selection is tremendous. I tried one of their beer samplers and enjoyed them all. We picked the boneless buffalo wings as an appetizer, and they easily supplanted my usual favorite place for this app, Chili's. For supper, we split a "Chicago Seven" pizza and were very happy with it. The waitress mentioned how great it was cold the next day, but mysteriously the box was gone from the fridge when I went to look for it. My wife says I must have left it at the restaurant, but I'm sure I saw her wipe a little red sauce from her face. We've eaten pizzas, calzones and strombolis here and enjoyed everything. Yes, it's a chain restaurant, but sometimes chain is just what the doctor ordered for those of us unpretentious enough to realize it. We'll be back again and again.

Stopped off right by this place while on a cross country adventure. I ordered spaghetti with meatball and the food was flavorless. My spouse ordered the calzone and he commented that it was just okay. I don't have much to compared to as we just stayed the night here but the overall dining experience was just average.

Sat at the bar on Sat. night, fairly busy at 8pm. Lots of football on tv, casual. The bartender was nice, but service was SLOW all night - I had to flag him down 3 times to get his attention. The beer selection is pretty good, a little pricy. The pizza was great, really liked the chicago-stye meat lover's. Deep dish. Again, a little pricy for what it was. Don't know if I'll be back (I certainly won't sit at the bar).

My wife and I came here with her mom and step-dad this past Friday evening. We just rolled into town from Dallas and decided on Old Chicago for dinner based on her step-dad's recommendation. Upon arriving the atmosphere was your stereotypical chain like Chili's or Fridays. The only difference being that the bar had about 25 or so taps as opposed to the standard 4-5. We sat in the bar area at a booth and ordered some drinks, including 3 beers, a glass of wine, and 2 shots of Patron (ordered by my wife's step-dad for himself and my wife). The beer selection was not very impressive compared to the number of taps. Luckily, they had a Boulevard IPA. The rest of the taps were mostly BMC. (BudMillerCoors for the non Beer Advocates). Our beers arrived about 20 minutes after we ordered them along with the shots. It was kind of humorous when our waitress came by the table to let us know our drinks would be up soon because I could look to the left and see the 2 bartenders standing there chatting with the hostesses. My wife and her step-dad drank their shots of Patron and soon realized the rim of the glass had sugar on it, not salt. This was also after they had asked for no salt. We also ordered some chips and salsa. There was nothing special here. They were store bought chips along the lines of Mission. The salsa was very recognizable. As in Pace Picante, The lady who delivered the chips and salsa to our table spilled half of the chips onto the table as she was handing them to us. She simply grabbed them off the table with her bare hands and placed them back on our plate. Pretty unsanitary. I was hungry so I ate around those chips anyways. Well, another 45 minutes or so go by. Could have been longer, I'm not sure as we were chatting with the people at the table behind us. Wondering where our food was, we asked our waitress, and we also ordered some more chips since there was salsa left. Several minutes later, our food came, and right after that she delivered the extra chips. Kind of pointless to deliver the chips after the food since we really only wanted them to hold us over until we received our food. The food was mediocre at best. I would rather dine at a Sizzler than this place. The quality of food was to be expected when we walked in. I was really hoping for a decent Chicago style hot dog, but they didn't even have one on the menu. The service was really some of the worst I've received in a while. It wasn't too busy, even for a Friday night. Surely the better servers would be working on a weekend night? We probably should have spoken to a manager about the service, and I think we should have asked for the shots to be comped but not wanting to stay there any longer, we just left and went to grab drinks elsewhere. If an Old Chicago manager reads this: TRAINING! Please show your bar tenders the difference between sugar and salt.

Update: I was contacted by someone in management about this review and they comped my meal (unexpected to be sure) and encouraged me to give them another try. We did go back and the service was excellent and the food was really good. It's always nice that a business cares about their customers and I think this shows that Old Chicago knows how to address any issues and run a good business. Kudos to them! We will be back!

Old Chicago has a great beer list. If the food and service lived up to that standard, it would be a 5 star place. Unfortunately, in our visits, either the food has been good and the service sub-par or the service has been average and the food was not great. My wife's overall impression is so bad that she will no longer go there.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.

Love the beer selection. Food gets a 4/5. Staff is great for the most part. Brett really knows his beers.

The Chicago Style crust was incredible, and the service was fantastic. It was a Sunday and I forgot my DL and the waitress allowed me to have my Guinness and that was awesome. I will make this spot a regular watering hole

Poor and slow service. Food is not that good. Came here several times after it opened and a year later. Didn't improve. The waitress forgot about us once !

Went here once. Prices were pretty expensive for what we had. We had seating pretty quickly but then to order and recieve our food took a little while. Probally would not frequent again unless someone else had a reason to go.

Service was bad. Waiter came back twice to because he got confused and then the food was still wrong. They did comp us one dinner but that was hardly worth the hassel. Food was good if you can put up with bad service.
